Children's Church: Our young people gather with the adults at the beginning of our worship service, but after their Children's Moment with Pastor Scott, all youth grades 2 and below are invited to go with Mrs. Karen for Children's Church, which lasts until the adult service ends.
Disciples Chi Rho Youth Groups are intended for middle school youth in grades six, seven, and eight.
Disciples CYF Groups are intended for high school youth in grades nine through 12.
The Mission for the Chi Rho & CYF Groups of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the U.S. and Canada is to respond to the needs of youth for relationships, events, and opportunities where they can be themselves, discern their gifts, and be empowered to be effective leaders and servants as called by God to be the body of Christ in the world.
Chi Rho and CYF groups have a combined meeting on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month from 4-6 pm. We will be doing a mix of community service projects, bible study and fun events. If you have any questions about these groups please contact Jolene or Rebecca.
Backpack Program
The youth went shopping for items to donate to the Franklin County BackPack Program. Due to the generous donations from our congregation the youth were able to spend over $250 to purchase items for the backpacks.
